Welcome to Fuel & Trip (the "App"), developed by VIKIC ("we", "us", or "our"). Your privacy is important to us. This privacy policy explains how we and our partners collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application. This App is supported by advertising, which allows us to offer it for free.

a) Advertising Data (via Google AdMob)

To provide personalized advertising and support our App, we partner with Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process the following types of data:

• Advertising ID: A unique, user-resettable ID for advertising, provided by your device's operating system.
• Approximate Location: Derived from your IP address to show ads relevant to your country or region.
• App Interactions: Information about how you interact with ads shown in the App (e.g., clicks).

b) Data You Provide (Temporarily Saved on Your Device)

The information you enter into the calculator is processed exclusively on your device to provide the app's functionality. To improve your experience, this data is temporarily saved on your device's state so you do not lose your input if the app is interrupted (e.g., by a phone call or screen rotation).

• This data is not stored permanently, and no history of your calculations is kept.
• This data is automatically deleted when you clear the fields or close the application.
• This data is never sent to us or any third party (except for routing data as described in Section 2).

2. Third-Party Data Sharing

a) Google AdMob

We share the data listed in section 1(a) with our advertising partner, Google, to display advertisements within the App.

b) Geocoding and Routing Services

When you use the trip planning feature, the start and end point locations you enter are sent to external services (OpenStreetMap providers like Nominatim and OSRM) to obtain geographic coordinates and calculate the route distance. We do not send any personal identifiers with these requests.

3. User Consent for European Users (GDPR)

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the UK, we use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request your consent for the collection of data for personalized advertising. You can accept or decline this consent.

4. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. All data you enter into the App is stored in its private, temporary storage on your device. However, please be aware that no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

5. Children's Privacy

This App is not intended for use by children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 18.
